DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA (Reuters) - Frank Sinatra Jr, the son of famed singer and actor Frank Sinatra, has died of cardiac arrest, his sister has said.
The 72-year-old singer and conductor was set to perform several of his father's songs on Wednesday (March 16) night.
The event, at the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, was cancelled after he fell ill.
He was later reported to have died.
Sinatra recently told a local newspaper that he never felt ashamed of not reaching his father's level of fame.
