So is the Material Girl finally coming to Singapore for a concert, or not?

Local fans are all abuzz, thinking that they can buy tickets to Madonna's first concert here on Dec 17. After all, it had said as much on her official website, http://www.madonna.com/tour.

The website even stated that the 57-year-old singer's concert will be held here on Feb 28 at the National Stadium.

The Singapore date has since been removed from the website.

IMC Live, the concert promoter in talks to bring her show here, says it has no comment.

At press time, the link to buy tickets to the Singapore concert takes users to a page to buy an Icon Live Pass, which includes membership into Icon, the official Madonna worldwide fan club and 10 per cent member discount at the official Madonna Online Store.

But the link does not take users to a local ticketing agency for the Singapore show, unlike the link to the confirmed show in Macau.
