SINGAPORE - Film-maker Jack Neo broke out the moves for his daughter's wedding dinner on Friday (Dec 15).

The 56-year-old danced with his daughter Ethel on stage at the 40-table banquet held at the St Regis, Shin Min Daily News said.

Ethel, 25, wed Mr Peter Lau, 31, in September this year, but they held their wedding dinner on Friday.

After the dance, Neo handed his daughter to Mr Lau, and asked him to take good care of her, the Chinese evening daily said in a Facebook post.

The newlyweds had dated for seven years, an earlier report said.

Neo also posted a photo of him hugging his daughter on Instagram with a message in Chinese: "It's time to give my daughter away, it will happen eventually, as a father, 'reluctant' is too simple a word to express how I feel."

Ethel is Neo's only daughter. He also has three sons, aged 22, 17 and 12, with wife Irene.
