Cathay, Filmgarde and Golden Village are pulling out all the stops to lure moviegoers back to the big screen - from opening new outlets to easier ticketing

Fewer people in Singapore are going to the cinema, if last year's official figures are anything to go by.

But tell that to cinema operators. After recent cinema launches at Parkway Parade and SingPost Centre in Paya Lebar, a new cineplex has just opened at Tampines' Century Square and one is set to open in Bedok Central.
