Chris Evans coming here

American heart-throb Chris Evans will be in Singapore to promote his new Marvel superhero movie Captain America: Civil War next month.

The 34-year-old will be joined by his co-stars Anthony Mackie (who plays Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) for a series of promotional events at Marina Bay Sands from April 21 from 6pm. Director Joe Russo will also be in town. The main event is the blue carpet on April 21, when the stars and director will walk through The Shoppes At Marina Bay Sands, near the skating rink, to greet fans.

Singapore seems to be becoming a more frequent stop on Hollywood's publicity tours.

English actor Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran Stark on the hit HBO series Game Of Thrones, will hold a meet-and- greet session with fans on Saturday at Ion Orchard.

On Sunday, Hollywood A-listers Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Jessica Chastain will grace the red carpet at Universal Studios Singapore for their new movie, The Huntsman: Winter's War.

Captain America: Civil War opens in cinemas on April 28.
