Taylor Swift to develop mobile game

Grammy-award winning pop star Taylor Swift is making her first foray into the world of mobile gaming by partnering with Glu Mobile Inc to develop a new game. It will be released late this year, the company said, and is a "multi-year partnership". Glu Mobile is behind the popular Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game.

Zegna and Stefano Pilati part ways

Milanese menswear brand Ermenegildo Zegna announced it is parting ways with Stefano Pilati, head of design for Ermenegildo Zegna Couture, making it the third Italian men's house to lose its designer in a week.

Last Monday, Kering's Italian menswear brand Brioni and its creative director Brendan Mullane said they had jointly decided not to renew their working collaboration. Hours later, Berluti said its chief designer Alessandro Sartori is leaving the label nine days after presenting his latest fall collection at Paris Fashion Week.

Zaha Hadid receives Royal Gold Medal

Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid was awarded Britain's Royal Gold Medal on Wednesday, becoming the first individual woman to win the award. The Royal Institute of British Architects presented the medal to her after her selection was approved by Queen Elizabeth II.

She joins Frank Gehry, Norman Foster and the late Frank Lloyd Wright in receiving the medal, which is given to those with a strong influence on the advancement of architecture.
