Singapore actors in race for Best Actor at Asian TV awards

Singapore's Christopher Lee, Pierre Png and Norman Ishak are in the race for Best Actor honours at the 20th Asian Television Awards which will air live on Dec 2 and 3.

Lee (... Against The Tide), Png (Zero Calling 2) and Ishak (Firasat) will vie with regional stars such as Taiwan's Blue Lan (Apple In Your Eye) and China's Tong Dawei (Tiger Mom).

Singapore's Felicia Chin (Love Is Love - Sunshine) and Suhaillah Salam (Dua Wajah) are in the race for the Best Actress prize with stars including China's Vicki Zhao (Tiger Mom) and Zhou Xun (Red Sorghum) as well as Ruby Lin (The Way We Were) of Taiwan, in nominations announced on Thursday.
