Rapper Rich Chigga to perform at Ultra

Jakarta-based Indonesian rapper Rich Chigga and home-grown electronic music acts Jasmine Sokko and Myrne will be part of outdoor electronic dance music festival Ultra Singapore, which will be held on June 10 and 11. The festival returns to Ultra Park, located in a field next to Marina Bay Sands Tower 1. Tickets from US$115 (S$160) to US$178, are on sale via UltraSingapore.com/tickets.

Jimmy Kimmel to host Oscars again

For the first time since the 1990s, the Academy Awards telecast will have the same host for two years in a row.

Jimmy Kimmel said on Tuesday that he would return as emcee. "If you think we screwed up the ending this year, wait until you see what we have planned for the 90th anniversary show!" he said in a statement, referring to the bungled Best Picture announcement at the culmination of the most recent ceremony. Moonlight won, but an envelope mix-up led to the accidental coronation of La La Land.

Roseanne to return

ABC announced an eight-episode reboot of Roseanne, the working-class sitcom starring Roseanne Barr, which will air next year with its original cast from the 1980s and 1990s.

Moore to film Trump documentary

Film-maker Michael Moore is making a documentary on United States President Donald Trump, titled Fahrenheit 11/9, a nod to his 2004 work set in the aftermath of the Sept 11 attacks and also the date the president was elected.
