PINOCCHIO COUPLE NOT DATING

The on-screen couple of the television series Pinocchio, Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk, are not in an off-screen relationship, their agencies said. Dispatch website published a story on Wednesday with photos of what it said were the two 25-year-olds on dates in South Korea and abroad since January. Lee's agency said they were close friends even before they filmed Pinocchio and are still good friends.

IGLESIAS RECOVERING

Spanish crooner Julio Iglesias, 71, is recovering after undergoing a "minor" back operation in New York, his record label said. "Last week, Julio Iglesias had a minor medical intervention on his lower back, as part of a routine check-up in New York," said Sony Music.

JOURNEY DRUMMER IN JAIL

Journey drummer Deen Castronovo, 50, was in jail in Oregon on Tuesday on charges of rape and sexual assault, court officials said. He was charged with rape, assault and unlawful use of a weapon stemming from his arrest in an alleged domestic violence incident on June 14.
