Adele accused of plagiarism

British pop star Adele has been accused of plagiarism by Turkish music lovers, who say a track from her latest album is a rip-off of a song by an iconic Kurdish musician. They say Million Years Ago, from her album 25, bears an unmistakable resemblance to a 1985 tune by Ahmet Kaya called Acilara Tutunmak (Clinging To Pain).

Users on social media in Turkey have accused Adele of "stealing" the melancholic tune. Kaya died in France in exile 15 years ago.
