GIANNA JUN IS PREGNANT

My Love From The Star actress Gianna Jun is 10 weeks pregnant and due early next year, her agency Culture Depot said on Wednesday.

"To be honest, it hasn't really sunk in yet. But I'm glad to see my family all happy for me," said Jun, 33, who married a businessman in 2012.

Last week, she became a target of media criticism after attending an interview with bodyguards who kept cutting off reporters. Her agency apologised for the interview.

CHINA TO BAN "VULGAR" REALITY SHOWS

China's media regulator will ban "vulgar and damaging" reality television shows and will order them to promote decent Chinese values rather than simply aiming for cheap entertainment, state news agency Xinhua said on Wednesday.

The regulator also said reality shows should reduce their dependence on foreign formats such as Korean and American variety shows, adding that producers should be confident of China's own culture.

Fresh from his success in the big-screen comedy Trainwreck, NBA superstar LeBron James has signed a deal with entertainment giant Warner Bros, the two sides announced on Wednesday. They have plans for projects in television, film and original digital content. James plays himself in Trainwreck, which stars Amy Schumer and Bill Hader.
