Eason Chan to play 19 shows on world tour

Hong Kong singer Eason Chan will start a world tour for his new Mandarin album, C'mon In, in Beijing on Sept 22. He will play 19 shows at 18 stops, including Hong Kong, London and New York. Tickets to his show in Singapore Indoor Stadium on Dec 3, from $118 to $208, will be available from www.sportshubtix.sg from Sept 15.


Man files paternity suit against Iglesias

A Spanish man, who claims to have the results of a DNA test showing he is Julio Iglesias' son, filed a paternity suit on Monday against the Grammy-award- winning singer. Javier Sanchez Santos, 41, presented the lawsuit at a court in the Mediterranean city of Valencia where he lives, his lawyer Fernando Osuna said. Santos' mother, Portuguese ballerina Maria Edite, in 1992 presented a paternity suit against Iglesias, but it was dismissed due to procedural reasons. She says she had a brief affair in 1975 with the singer, 73.


K-pop star Ok Taec Yeon enlists

2PM singer-actor Ok Taec Yeon, 28, started his mandatory military service on Monday, said JYP Entertainment. The agency apologised for not being able to inform the media about Ok's enlistment earlier, as he wanted to enlist quietly.
