Dylan accepts Nobel Prize at last

After months of uncertainty, singer-songwriter Bob Dylan finally accepted the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature at a private ceremony in a secret location ahead of his concert in Stockholm last Saturday, the Swedish Academy announced.

Ms Sara Danius, the academy's permanent secretary, said in a blog post: "Spirits were high. Champagne was had."


Kim Hyun Joong caught drink-driving

Actor-singer Kim Hyun Joong has been caught driving under the influence, the South Korean police said last Friday.

After drinking with friends in Seoul last Sunday, Kim, 30, passed out in his BMW while waiting for a traffic signal. He was found by the police after a report by the driver of a car behind him. His blood alcohol level was 0.075 per cent, above the legal limit of 0.05 per cent. His licence was suspended.
