Bridge Of Spies, Carol top Bafta nominations

Bridge Of Spies and Carol led the nominations last Friday for Britain's Bafta film awards, seen as a tip for later Oscar success. The two films have nine nominations each and are both nominated in the Best Film category.

They are up against The Big Short and The Revenant, which has eight nominations, and Spotlight.


Kanye hints of album release next month

Rap star Kanye West hinted that his long-awaited next album Swish will come out next month. "Swish February 11 16," he wrote on Twitter last Friday without explaining.

He will headline the June 3 to 5 Governors Ball festival in New York, which will also feature influential home-grown rockers The Strokes.
