Beyonce, Drake team up
Two of music's top-selling stars have come together briefly, as rapper Drake put out a new song featuring pop superstar Beyonce. He brought her in on Can I?, which runs for only around two minutes and where she recites one line, "Can I, baby?", repeatedly over one of his trademark slow beats.
It started airing officially over the weekend on Beats 1, Apple's online radio station where Drake is a major player. $1.8m for Tintin work
A rare drawing of comic book hero Tintin fetched
HK$9.6 million (S$1.77 million) at auction in Hong Kong on Monday.
The artwork is an illustration from Belgian cartoonist Herge's 1936 book, The Blue Lotus, which sees Tintin and Snowy the dog on an adventure in Shanghai. French auction house Artcurial said the buyer was an Asian collector.
Drawn in monochrome, the artwork shows Tintin being pulled along a street in a rickshaw with a policeman looking on. It is the only original from the book to remain in private hands, Artcurial said.
Artist Ai Weiwei bugged?
Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei on Sunday posted photos on his Instagram account that suggest listening devices were planted in his Beijing studio. The pictures were of wires pulled out from a wall socket and another device with about a dozen wires protruding from it.
"Ai Weiwei returned to Beijing and unexpectedly discovered a four-year-old secret when decorating his studio," lawyer Liu Xiaoyuan wrote on Twitter, apparently referring to the artist's detention in 2011 for 81 days.
