M*A*S*H actor David Ogden Stiers dies

David Ogden Stiers, who played the snobbish but sympathetic surgeon Winchester on television's M*A*S*H and later delighted a generation of children with voice roles in Disney movies, including as the clock Cogsworth in Beauty And The Beast, died last Saturday at his home in Newport, Oregon. He was 75. He had bladder cancer, his agent wrote in a tweet announcing the death.

Another BigBang member to enlist

BigBang singer Daesung will start his mandatory military service on March 13, his agency YG Entertainment said yesterday.

With Taeyang set to enlist on March 12, Seungri will be the only member of the top K-pop group yet to begin his military service.

Also, on Monday, CNBlue singer Jung Yong Hwa enlisted in the military, starting a five-week basic training course at a boot camp in Hwacheon, Gangwon province.
