Buzzing: More people tune in to Kiss92 and UFM100.3; Anita Pallenberg dies at 75

Rise in listenership for Kiss92, UFM100.3

More people are listening to Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) English radio station Kiss92 and Mandarin station UFM100.3, according to the latest Nielsen radio survey results.

Kiss92 also regained its position as Singapore's No. 1 English music station, based on percentage share of listenership. Its cumulative listenership rose from 567,000 to 661,000, the biggest leap among all English radio stations here.

Listenership for UFM100.3, SPH Radio's only Mandarin station, jumped from 399,000 to 422,000, while it held steady at 255,000 for its other English station, ONE FM 91.3.

Kiss92 plays adult contemporary music for women aged 30 and above, as well as families. ONE FM 91.3 plays music for men above 30 and provides sports and lifestyle updates. UFM100.3 is targeted at working professionals aged 35 to 49.


Rolling Stones 'muse' dies

Anita Pallenberg, a model and actress who was sometimes called the muse of the Rolling Stones and had affairs with three of the band's key members, died on Tuesday at a hospital in Chichester, England. She was 75.
