Singer Miley Cyrus took along Tyler Ford, a photographer and former contestant on The Glee Project, as her “agender” date to the amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York on Tuesday. On Instagram, she described Tyler as a “queer, biracial, agender person, whose pronouns are they/them/theirs”. FOO FIGHTERS CANCEL EUROPEAN TOUR

The Foo Fighters will cancel the rest of their European tour, as singer Dave Grohl recovers from surgery after breaking his leg while on stage last week in Sweden, they said on Tuesday.

Grohl, 46, said he dislocated his ankle and snapped his fibula "like an old pair of take out chopsticks" after a 3.6m fall off the stage.

He had six metal screws fitted into his leg,

but has been advised to rest, he said. Their headlining slot at England's Glastonbury Festival was also cut.

COLLINS PAYS $44M FOR MANSION

British rocker Phil Collins snapped up a Miami Beach mansion which singer Jennifer Lopez once called home for US$33 million (S$44.4 million). Lopez sold it in 2005 for US$13.5 million to a businessman. The vintage late 1920s home boasts views of Biscayne Bay and the downtown Miami skyline and has its own boat slip, pool and koi pond.
