SINGAPORE - British indie outfit alt-J will be back in Singapore to play at the Esplanade Theatre on Nov 29.

The band first made headlines when their 2012 debut album, An Awesome Wave, won Britain's coveted Mercury Prize and the Album Of The Year accolade at the Ivor Novello Awards.

Their 2014 sophomore effort, This Is All Yours, peaked at No.1 in the British charts. The band's third and most recent album, Relaxer, was released in June and was also nominated for this year's Mercury Prize.

Formed in 2007, the current line-up comprises guitarist and singer Joe Newman, keyboardist and singer Gus Unger-Hamilton and drummer Thom Sonny Green.

The band performed at The Coliseum in 2015 and Laneway Festival at Gardens by the Bay in 2013.

Tickets for the Esplanade show, from $88 to $148, will go on sale through Apactix (http://www.apactix.com) on Sep 22.
