SEOUL (THE KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - YG Entertainment announced Thursday that an unspecified artist from the agency is making a comeback on May 30.
The agency has uploaded a teaser image that reads "Who's Next? 2016.5.30" on its official blog at www.yg-life.com. It is the first time the agency has released a comeback teaser without revealing the artiste. The agency usually begins promoting an album about two weeks before a return.
There is speculation that K-pop boy band iKON could be the one as teaser images have also been released implying the band would release a new song. It is also possible the group's member Bobby could release a solo album, as one of the images teased: "Who should be first? iKON or Bobby?"
Legendary boy band Sechs Kies has also been mentioned as a possibility, as the group signed with YG Entertainment on May 11, some 16 years after its dissolution.
It could also be boy band Big Bang, which has hinted at a big event in celebration of its 10th anniversary.
