(REUTERS) - Lady Gaga steals the spotlight at the premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel.
As with everything else she does, the American singer brings an electricity to the show, but she's modest and says she's just happy to be part of it.
"Myself and many of my friends have always been fascinated with things that many people don't think are beautiful, that they find scary or strange or weird or too unique. But I'm not that way. I like to put things together that other people don't and that's what Ryan does on this show and everybody here is so smart and talented and brilliant and I'm just so happy to be a part of it," she says, referring to the show's creator Ryan Murphy.
British supermodel Naomi Campbell also appears in the show as Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Claudia Bankson.
"I love American Horror Story. I've been watching it since season one and the character was great and the way that it came about - Ryan's a man of his word. And Claudia Bankson's a very opinionated editor who works at Vogue. Editor-in-Chief. She says what she wants to say, how she wants to say and who she wants to say it."
The fifth instalment of the Emmy and Golden Globe winning show will feature 13 episodes and premieres on FX on Oct 7, 2015.
