It would take over 19 hours to watch all eight movies in the Harry Potter film franchise. But one "Potterhead" has taken all eight films and edited them into a single movie which has been posted online, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Tim Stiefler has named his work Wizardhood in reference to Richard Linklater's 12-year opus Boyhood.

His edited version lasts just short of an hour and 20 minutes.

The movie condenses over 10 years in the life of Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson), and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) into one feature-length movie, says EW.

The Harry Potter movie series is based on JK Rowling's fantasy novels about a boy who discovers he is a wizard destined to beat the dark lord Voldemort. His adventures begin at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he meets his two best friends Ron and Hermione.

The first book, Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone was published in 1997.

The seven-part series became a global phenomenon, translated into 67 languages. It sold more than 450 million copies and was credited with reviving children's interest in reading.

Also adapted into box office blockbuster films, Harry Potter made Rowling the first female novelist billionaire.

In 2012, Forbes dropped her from its billionaire list, attributing it to Rowling's charitable donations and high tax rates in Britain.

A sequel, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, premiered as a play in London in July 2016, and the script was published as an eighth book of the series.

More recently, the Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them hit cinemas.
