BEIJING - Actress Zhang Ziyi and rocker Wang Feng welcomed a daughter in the United States on Sunday (Dec 27), she announced on Weibo.

"Dec 27, 2015, you, me and her...," she wrote in a post on Monday, which included a picture of two big hands holding a little hand. "With the birth of a little life, we have our own home. All is safe and smooth, infinite gratitude."

In the photo, the baby's fingers are as long and slender as her mother's. Zhang's thumbnail is adorned with a pink W and a heart.

Wang wrote of the birth on Weibo: "The dust settles, spring begins and flowers bloom."

Zhang, 36, and Wang, 44, are reported to have married in May. The child is her first, and his third, apparently. He is said to have two daughters from previous relationships.
