SEOUL - The Running Man family will lose two more members, as actress Song Ji Hyo and singer Kim Jong Kook leave the South Korean variety show.

Song, 35, and Kim, 40, confirmed their departures weeks after rapper Gary, 38, left the show, said allkpop website.

Song's agency MY Company was quoted as saying she "plans to focus on her acting career".

"We knew Running Man would undergo format changes from SBS, but it's true we found out from news reports which members would not return. We won't comment on Song Ji Hyo's feelings on the matter," it told allkpop.

Kim's label, Maroo Entertainment, said: "It's true he was told he was leaving with no decision about the matter. It's disappointing. He featured in the show despite his health issues because he cared about it so much."

The companies of both stars said they had not confirmed the exact dates of their departures.

Producers were said to be bringing in fresh blood to revive the show after seven years. The remaining members of the cast are comedian Yoo Jae Suk, rapper Haha, actor Lee Kwang Soo and comedian Jee Seok Jin.
