Culture Club, the 1980s pop band fronted by the charismatic gender-bending singer Boy George, will be performing in Singapore on Dec 11 at The Star Theatre.

The classic 1980s hits they produced include Karma Chameleon and Do You Really Want To Hurt Me. They broke up in 1986 partly due to Boy George's problems with drug use and, following several on-off reunions over the years, they got together again in 2014 to record their sixth album Tribes.

Their original line-up of Boy George, Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards), Mikey Craig (bass) and Jon Moss (drums and percussion) are on tour.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Sept 25 at 9am via Sistic. They cost from $118 to $248.
