Chances are, if you are a tween, teen or parent of one, you know TikTok, the short-form video app with more than 800 million monthly users around the world.

Chances are, if you are a parent like me, it is nearly impossible to grasp. A curious space of the unknown, TikTok's website proclaims: "Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy." Surely most encourage that as I do.
