LONDON - British author Jeanette Winterson has sickened some of her Twitter followers by posting pictures of a rabbit she hunted, killed, skinned and cooked.

Posting a picture on Sunday of the carcass on a kitchen counter, she wrote, "Rabbit ate my parsley. I am eating the rabbit."

After telling a follower that she caught it in a cage next to a parsley bed, she added, "The skin which includes the head makes a great glove puppet."

She went on to upload a photo of the rabbit meat bubbling on a stove, cooked in "cider with rosemary and thyme", and a snap of her cat eating the innards. "No waste no packaging no processing no food miles," she tweeted.
