Dream Academy: Dream Champions

For a start, those who give at least $500 a year can become a Champion, which comes with perks such as three Category 1 tickets to any show and discounts for Dream Date, the company's dinner theatre experience.

It takes $15,000 to become a Champion of the Universe, the top tier of the programme, which boasts exclusive privileges such as 30 Category 1 tickets; a short , personalised song composed for you; a sneak peek of a rehearsal session; invites to a brainstorming session with Dream Academy founder Selena Tan; and a private dinner with one of the company's artists.

FOR CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERTGOERS

Singapore Symphony Orchestra: Friends of the SSO

Start off as a Friend at $75, which gives one priority booking with 10 per cent off all concert tickets, access to meet-and-greet sessions and a complimentary pair of tickets worth up to $120.

The highest tier is Platinum Friend at $1,000, which piles on the perks, including the latest SSO CD and 10 top-priced tickets to any concert.

FOR FANS OF DANCE

Singapore Dance Theatre: Friends of SDT

A Basic friend, at $50, can enjoy 10 per cent savings on adult dance classes and performance tickets, among other things, while going for Gold at $200 doubles the savings to 20 per cent and some complimentary tickets are thrown in as well.

FOR THOSE WHO WANT A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING

The Esplanade: Esplanade&Me

Go white or black. For $50 a year, the White Card gives a 10 per cent discount on tickets and the chance to attend behind-the-scene sneak previews and autograph signings.

The $500 Black Card gives bigger rewards: 15 per cent savings on tickets, priority booking, invites to post-show parties and networking sessions and savings on parking fees at the arts centre.

IF VISUAL ARTS ARE MORE YOUR THING

National Gallery Singapore: Gallery Insider

Instead of tiers, join as an individual, with a friend or with the family to enjoy unlimited free entry to all exhibitions, priority booking and discounts on dining and shopping. An introductory promotion is on till March - adult Singaporeans and permanent residents can join as individuals for just $20 a year instead of the usual $30, while families can sign on for $50 instead of $85.
