Singapore Youth Chinese Orchestra Audition 2016

The orchestra is recruiting new members and application is open till Oct 3. Applicants have to be Singaporeans, permanent residents and students studying in Singapore; between the ages of 11 and 26 as of Jan 1, 2017; and play at least a Chinese orchestral instrument with a minimum of Grade 5 in ABRSM Music Theory. Auditions will be held from Nov 13 to 18 at the Singapore Conference Hall.

Han Sai Por: Secret Landscapes - A Bali Purnati Artist Residency

This is Cultural Medallion recipient Han Sai Por's inaugural solo acrylic medium-focused exhibition, featuring 15 paintings inspired by her recent Bali Purnati artist residency. The Parliament In Singapore History Exhibition

This exhibition charts the history of The Arts House from 1827 to 1999. Singapore's nation-building journey is encapsulated through rare archival images and the spoken words of pioneer parliamentarians such as founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, Dr Goh Keng Swee and Mr S. Rajaratnam.

National Day Calligraphy & Painting Exhibition 2016

This year's exhibition showcases the works of more than 200 Singapore artists and calligraphers such as Dr Lai Kui Fang, Eng Siak Loy, Dr Ho Kah Leong, Chang Kwang Wee, Koh Mun Hong, Vincent Chua and Goh Siew Guan.
