President's Young Performers Concert 2016

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra is calling for Singaporean musicians for next year's concert. Auditions will be held for shortlisted conductors and musicians performing on Western classical instruments. Instrumentalists should be aged below 25 and conductors below 35 as of July 1. Send your biography with your date of birth, musical background, contact details and a non-returnable DVD recording of your performance of one movement of a concerto to President's Young Performers Concert Auditions, SSO Programming Department, 01-02 Victoria Concert Hall, 11 Empress Place by Tuesday.

The Sound Of Music

Vocal Associates Festival Children's and Youth Choirs perform songs from one of the world's best-loved musicals - Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound Of Music. Ave Maria And Carols For Advent & Christmas

The Choir of Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, will make their debut here in a one-night-only concert at the Victoria Concert Hall. They will perform some of the most famous songs and motets with the title Ave Maria. The choir will also sing traditional and modern carols.

Yellow Ribbon Community Art Exhibition 2015

Nanyang Sensation - An Oil Painting Exhibition By Wang Mo Ping

Artist Wang Mo Ping was born in China in 1957 and migrated to Singapore in 2001. His works display his affection for the landscape here as he spends much of his time painting at places such as West Coast Park and Tanjong Pagar. His paintings deploy Impressionistic techniques, using bright colours, distinctive brushstrokes, transient effects of sunlight and unique compositions to express a "Nanyang" sensation.

Sous La Lune/Beneath The Moon

Sous La Lune/Beneath The Moon presents major existing and new works by 11 artists from South-east Asia and France.

It is co-produced by the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, the curatorial division of Lasalle College of the Arts, and Palais de Tokyo (Paris).

Curated by Singaporean Khairuddin Hori, deputy director of artistic programming at Palais de Tokyo, the exhibition explores the mysterious, complex and multi-layered nature of aesthetic experience through immersive artworks and installations in a range of media.

1000 Singapores: Eight Points Of The Compact City

The 1000 Singapores: Eight Points Of The Compact City exhibition travels home after making its debut appearance at the Cite de L'architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris.

The exhibition, commissioned by the DesignSingapore Council, suggests ways in which future urbanisation and compact cities can be designed. It is curated by award-winning designers Khoo Peng Beng, Erik L'Heureux and Florian Schatz.

The Emperor's New Clothes

Catch Wild Rice's final production of its Imagination season.
