What do you do with $8,000 worth of artificial plants, enough to convert 288 sq m of theatre into a savage tropical jungle? Leave it to set designer Wong Chee Wai to solve this and other problems, after the lights dim on the shows he brings to visual life.
He prefers to recycle props rather than break them down. The 10,000 artificial plants used to create a jungle in the School of the Arts' Studio Theatre for a 2016 staging of Lord Of The Flies were donated to the Players Theatre troupe.
