THE BLACK PEARL - TRIBUTE TO MARIA CALLAS

Learn about the life of 20th-century soprano Maria Callas in this production performed by Italian soprano Silvia Cafiero and narrated by Singapore thespian Gerald Chew, who also acts as Callas' butler Ferruccio.

The play is written by Italian playwright Federica Nardacci and produced by Singapore-based arts company Bellepoque and the Italian Cultural Institute.

BETWEEN THE LINES: RANT AND RAVE II

Singapore's literary history - such as the literature of post-colonial days and the role of the now-defunct American bookstore chain Borders in the 1990s - gets a theatrical retelling with Rant And Rave II. Singapore actors Jean Ng (photo) and Serene Chen take on multiple characters in this show, which is part of the Singapore Writers Festival.

COLLECTING MAGIC: FROM STAMPS TO WANDS

Indulge in Pottermania in this exhibition, which will feature the first licensed Harry Potter stamps, postcards, limited-edition books, prop replicas and movie posters. There will also be interactive elements, including a wand station and "moving" portraits.
