"No day without a line" is the motto of much-decorated Indian artist Paresh Maity. Even while travelling, he paints watercolours on trains, sketches on planes and takes "small works" from his journeys home to complete in his studio in Delhi.

The 53-year-old artist is in Singapore this week for Kala Sutra 2018, a boutique art fair at The Arts House from tomorrow to Sunday. Kala Sutra focuses on Indian artists and is back after a hiatus of two years, with organisers seeing a better market for art.
