The Autobots and Decepticons have landed in Singapore. Fans of the hit toy series Transformers can come face-to-face with their favourite characters at the Transformers 30th Anniversary Exhibition, which opens at the Science Centre Singapore today.

The 3,000 sq m exhibition is a fan's dream come true, with 11 life-sized models of well-known characters including two 7m-tall statues, original toys and rare collectibles spread across eight zones.

Gurveen Kaur susses out five must-see Transformers figurines at the exhibition that will make for Instagram-worthy shots.

1) Optimus Prime (In Zone 6)

As the venerable leader of the good robot faction Autobots, it is of little surprise that one of the two tallest models in the exhibition is Optimus Prime. Standing tall and mighty at 7m, one can almost hear the robot command his troops, "Autobots, roll out!"

2) Bumblebee (In Zone 6)

The other 7m-tall statue is - you guessed it - fan favourite Bumblebee. Despite the yellow Autobot being one of the smaller characters in the Autobots faction, Bumblebee's rise to stardom after the Transformers films were released have led to the character becoming a pop culture icon.

Fully aware of just how popular Bumblebee is, the curators for the exhibition brought in two other 2m-tall statues of the characters for fans who just can't get enough of the robot.

3) Grimlock (In Zone 1)

Badass leader of the dinobots, Grimlock is considered one the most powerful and toughest characters among the Autobots.
Size-wise, Grimlock measures head-to-head with Optimus Prime that the curators could only feature the dinobot's head as opposed to its body, which would approximately measure 7m-long. Nevertheless, just a close-up of Grimlock's 2.5m-long head and razor-sharp teeth will be enough to unnerve visitors.

4) Ironhide (In Zone 2)

One of the older characters and a loyal sidekick to Optimus Prime, fans can get up close to the 2.2m-tall figure of Ironhide and notice the intricate details of his arm cannons.

5) Megatron (In Zone 5)

Though there are more statues of the heroic Autobots than the vicious Decepticons in the exhibition, it won't be a Transformers showcase without an appearance by Lord Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons.

Although Megatron's figurine is a mere 2.2m-tall, the statue captures the character's menacing aura with his signature cannon on his right arm - ready to blast off any threat in a blink.
