SINGAPORE - First the good news. Trafalgar Tours has realised that there is domestic demand for its heritage tours and is now offering standalone day tours which are not tied to a pricey hotel stay. In addition to offering its Victoria Clock Tower climb as a day tour, it is introducing a new Crossroads Alive! walk.

The three-hour experience, which includes lunch at the Practice Tuckshop and is priced at $228 a person, takes in the Waterloo Street area, focusing on its arts and heritage aspects.
