When the billion-dollar Star Wars franchise decides to spin off its first-ever live action television series, it is bound to be major Hollywood news.

And so it is almost a rhetorical question when the cast and directors of The Mandalorian, which is streaming on the Disney+ service in Singapore, are asked when they first knew the now-popular series was a big deal.
