In the mystery thriller Nine Perfect Strangers, Nicole Kidman is Masha, the director of a wellness resort who goes to extremes to help guests "heal".

The 54-year-old Oscar winner also went to extremes for the part, staying in character for five months and refusing to answer to "Nicole" when speaking to other actors.
