SENIOR OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE ALFRED LOH, 28, monitors closed-circuit television footage of scenes from across the island's expressways at the LTA's Intelligent Transport Systems Centre. When a vehicle breakdown or an accident is spotted holding up traffic, tow trucks are dispatched to the scene, and will tow the affected vehicles to the nearest carpark for free. -- ST PHOTOS: MUGILAN RAJASEGERAN
