A long-time friend, Dr Chua Chee Lay (right), visited MP Seng Han Thong at SGH on Chinese New Year Eve. He said the MP was in good spirits, even signing cards with encouraging festive messages for the hospital staff and colleagues and friends.

Yio Chu Kang MP Seng Hang Thong, recovering at the Singapore General Hospital from his burn injuries, signs a Chinese New Year greeting card for Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew who visited him on Saturday. Mr Seng designed the cards and has send them to medical staff of Burn unit, colleagues and friends.
