Younger folk depriving seniors of reserved train seats

I am a senior and suffer from pains in my leg due to ageing.

I have observed that the policy on reserved seating for the elderly, the disabled or pregnant women implemented on MRT trains is not effective.

Many younger commuters tend to treat such reserved seating signs as propaganda and do not give up the seats to the elderly or those who need such seats, as they are expected to.

Train operators should consider some form of enforcement or measures to educate our younger commuters to be more civic-minded.
