Use baby carriers instead of strollers on buses

Allowing open strollers on buses would cause congestion on a crowded bus, especially if more than one stroller is present ("Recommendations to improve public transport"; Aug 2).

This can be hazardous during an emergency.

Perhaps parents could consider carrying their young children in sarong baby carriers or modern baby carriers if they are taking the bus.

Older children using strollers should get up and stand in the bus, such that the strollers can be folded.
