Smitten with a beautiful country

My wife and I visited Singapore from Jan 23 to Jan 28.

We are from the southern part of India - the state of Kerala - and are still hung-over from the beauty of Singapore, with its eco-friendly environment, well-maintained roads and drainage system.

Records show that over the years, Singapore has experienced tremendous growth.

Fifty years ago, the city-state was an undeveloped country. Today, it is one of the world's fastest-growing economies.

For a country that lacks territory and natural resources, Singapore's economic ascension is nothing short of remarkable, which is an achievement every citizen can be proud of.

Moreover, the nation's spectacular skyscrapers mark a great achievement in the field of engineering.

Singapore's tourism industry is also thriving, attracting more than 10 million visitors annually, and the nation also has the world's busiest transshipment port.

In fact, we would have loved to lengthen our stay, considering the abovementioned facts, but for the time being, let us keep our good memories with us forever, while wishing Singapore many more achievements to come.
