My family and I visited Gardens by the Bay on the night of Nov 16 and I applaud the authorities for making it a great place for the young and old.
However, what was different this time from our previous visits was that there were many buggies roaming the park, sometimes at relatively high speeds.
The lights at the park are quite dim at night, perhaps to create a certain mood.
However, this poses a safety risk as the buggies that night were moving in high traffic areas, with young children and old people, under reduced visibility.
My family, which included two young children, tried to avoid being hit by these buggies.
I hope the park will look into the safety hazard these vehicles pose.
