Reduce number of evening flights for NDP

I live in one of the blocks of flats on Jurong West Street 24. Each day, there are planes taking off and landing frequently at a nearby airbase.

While I appreciate the hard work and efforts of our defence forces in keeping our country safe, the excessive and deafening noise of the planes flying past is disruptive and is affecting residents' ability to get a good night's rest.

With the National Day Parade fast approaching, the frequency of the flights is increasing, with planes flying past every few minutes. The flights are also ending later, at around 10pm.

This is disrupting the lives of those living near the airbase.

I hope that there is a way whereby the frequency of flights can be reduced, and the flights end earlier, say, by 7pm daily.

If this is not possible, is there a way for the speed of the planes to be reduced and, hopefully, the noise too, during landings in the evenings?
