Professional care all round for mum

My 90-year-old mother was was admitted to Singapore General Hospital on July 19 after a bad fall.

She was very professionally taken care of by the ambulance staff - which also included one national serviceman - from the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

The admission process at SGH was a breeze, despite the hectic nature of the Accident and Emergency department.

My profound gratitude goes to the team of doctors led by orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Lee Kong Hwee, as well as the nurses and staff of Ward 76, who not only looked after my mum extremely well during her week-long stay but also inquired about her well-being after her discharge from hospital.
