At the Clementi Polyclinic on the morning of Oct 23, I was given a queue number which indicated that I would be able to see a doctor about an hour later.
But when the time came, I noticed that many patients ahead of me have not yet had their turn to see a doctor.
When I asked, staff at the registration counter told me I had to wait for another hour as the doctors needed more time with the earlier patients.
In this high-tech age, there must be a better system so as to avoid wasting time that could have been better spent at work, especially as manpower is tight.
