Punggol Promenade has become a great attraction for many visitors ever since Coney Island opened.
I was there on Deepavali and the crowd was massive; there is no doubt that this place will be a magnet for many more Singaporeans in future.
This new attraction, however, has two shortcomings: a shortage of parking facilities and telecommunications hiccups.
More parking space should be made available to cater to the proliferation of visitors.
As for telecommunications, I tried making a call that day and found that I was on a Malaysian network instead.
