Mid-Autumn experience at Gardens by the Bay new every year

We thank Mr Peh Chwee Hoe for his feedback (Gardens by the Bay lantern display lacks 'wow' factor; Oct 2).

This is the fifth year the Gardens is celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival.

With each year we look to create new experiences for our visitors. A different theme is introduced each time.

For instance, last year's lantern sets drew inspiration from Asian stories of the moon, such as the legend of Chang Er and Hou Yi.

This year, we celebrate the abundance of autumn with lantern sets depicting harvests and nature's bounty.

For the first time, synchronised lights and music accompany the floating displays to bring the scenes on water to life.

Multicultural elements have been incorporated in the festivities to make this an event that everyone can participate in.

We hear Mr Peh's feedback and will take it into consideration as we look to create an even better experience for all in future editions.
