Those with inconsistent signatures should look at using their thumbprint for bank transactions ("Give more leeway to bank customers with inconsistent signatures" by Mr Jason Su Chenglong; Dec 28,2016).

Financial institutions would be compromising on their security measures if they allowed cheques with inconsistent signatures to go through.
