I agree that more should be done to curb speeding heavy vehicles ("Curb speeding giants on road"; Sept 6). Measures to do so are long overdue.

To speed up enforcement and make our expressways safer, I hope the Traffic Police patrol cars will have on-board cameras to take photos of the offenders while driving past them, rather than hailing the vehicle driver to stop at the expressway shoulder to be issued a ticket.

In the long term, the Traffic Police could deploy driverless cars to take photos of those who speed and those who drive in the wrong lane.

It could even send out flying drones with cameras to take photos of the offenders.

The Traffic Police must go high-tech to police our expressways and make driving a pleasure for all.
